If you have not yet already, watch some Zion (hopefully he's got 6 games left in the semi-pros). He surpasses the superlatives.

Sources are telling me Luke is gone from the Lakers and back home to Tucson to helm the Wildcats. Cue his Dad speaking about the "league of champions" during the broadcast. . .

Back to your regularly scheduled discussion of whether Trey or John Mayer does more to keep the memory alive....

My current playlist (also dead) (with Ginger Baker on drums at many points):

Luke's style and persona is far more suited to the college level. Hell even Magic couldn't stand trying to coach the Lakers. If he lands in Tucson both sides win big imo.

Don't sell Tell short... I'm pretty sure it's not *his* discussion about these cover bands... not that anybody needs me woofing on their behalf...

Thanks, BD; my Bay Area friends still hold it against me for rooting for Kyrie...I tell ya, though he's a Celtic, there is no one else I want breaking down a defense w his ball handling skills, or taking a pressure shot. I know, I know; defence and flat Earth topics notwithstanding...

We need a shake up in Tucson, that's for scandal after another. Luke will most likely only be accused of offering free tickets to the locals when the latest Ratdog show comes to town.

Okay a birds-eye view. I realize he's super talented but will he able to do this stuff against Giannis, Davis, etc of the world? He's playing against kid bodies now. Just curious from the NW.

Many pros will have a height advantage, but he'd be the second heaviest pro right now. At 18. I don't think folks are going to out muscle him. And the round mound of rebound was a few inches shorter. Zion will do fine in the pros. Not saying he's the second coming of whoever, but (barring injuries), he should have a good pro career. RJ Barrett may be the better prospect.
